FAQ

Is acupuncture painful?

Acupuncture uses a very fine, hair-thin needle. Patient usually experiences a light pinch, then a dull or heavy sensation at insertion site.

What do I need to do to prepare for the treatment?

We recommend patients not to come in with an empty stomach. It is at the best to eat your regular meal or at least have a light snack at least 30 mins before your appointment. Do not eat any food that might stain your tongue since tongue diagnosis is part of the diagnostic method used in Chinese medicine.

What can I expect after the treatment?

Each patient responds differently to the treatment. We highly recommend setting aside at least half an hour after the session to allow your body to take full benefit of the treatment. However, we strongly recommend patients to take the day easy in order to retain the full effect from the treatment. However, It is Ok to return to work after the treatment.
