Chinese medicine is an ancient medicine that has been around in Asia for thousands of years. It includes acupuncture, moxibustion, cupping and herbal supplement. Just as the network of stream, rivers and lakes are the essence of life that irrigates a forest – Chinese medicine sought to bring balance to the flow of Qi in our body.

Chinese medicine describes many common ailments as stagnation or deficiency of Qi (energy flow). Acupuncture is the treatment of Qi, using needle to unblock and increase qi flow by stimulating and connecting points and channels. Along with other modalities such as moxibustion (use of mugwort near skin for its healing properties), cupping and herbal supplements, the ultimate goal is to bring a person's constitution to a healthy balance state.
